Came for Sunday lunch today, was waiting half hour for our table to be ready, were about to walk out of the door. Staff were rushed off their feet, obviously not enough staff on and at one point I saw the manager on her phone just waiting for food to come out when there were tables to be cleaned and people to be served.Once sat down the food came out pretty quickly, wasn't the best. Won't be returning for Sunday dinner anytime soon. Such a shame as staff were working really hard but we're let down by lack of staff and average overpriced food.
Steak small for the price and a bit cold to sit there for hours. But lovely service by waitress and lovely decor.
Nice food and comfortable surroundings. 5 special lunch menu available until 31st January. Tuesday night steak nights 10. Booking recommend.
The waitress who took our order had a face like thunder and just came over and said ready to order without so much as a hello or smile. Our starters were fine but the mains were awful. The pie was burnt and there were 7 dry, old, cold chips with it. Very bland meal and my wrap was so dry as it was literally just a wrap with dry falafel in it. Not worth 13.95. When our mains were brought over the waitress knocked over the cone of small chips in a little novelty fryer on the plate and the chips all went on the floor. Not even a sorry or I will get some more chips or even clearing up the chips. She just walked of as if she had done nothing wrong. The staff in this restaurant werent willing to help albeit one man who was quite nice but when I complained at the till no one seemed to want to help and a manager wasnt available. Very expensive for cold and mediocre food and service was awful. Shame as this is our local.
